Hi I’m Liz
I believe all women have the right to be heard and understood, to be recognised as individuals, with all the strengths and vulnerabilities they encompass. To be seen fully, without judgement and in a safe, compassionate relationship I believe is the foundation to be able to find solutions to the challenges you face, be the best version of yourself, whatever that may look like and thrive.
My charitable and voluntary work, as well as personal experiences, give me a breadth of understanding and my passion lies with working with women and teenage girls, hence specialising in this area. I have worked in specific services for female survivors of domestic violence, vulnerable and isolated young women, refugees, young people and homeless people. I have been a massage therapist since 2004 which deeply influenced becoming a psychotherapist, have trained youth workers in communication skills and conflict resolution, been active in social change causes and hold free groups for women via the red tent community.
I completed additional training to become a qualified online counsellor. I have this private practive and work for an amazing local charity supporting young people with free online sessions. I continue to support, hear, hold and empower women of all ages and will continue to expand ways in which I can do this. I truly love my work and feel humbled and honoured by every encounter I have.
I’m based in Brighton, UK but the beauty of online and telephone counselling is that we can communicate from anywhere. This is the convenient, consistant and flexible solution to emotional support that women are choosing today.
I attend professional supervision and CPD workshops regularly.
